On September 11, 1999, Elders Daniel and Alvita Thompson stepped into their destiny when they were joined together in holy matrimony and confirmed their desire and commitment to use their gifts and talents to prepare disciples.   Their training,  which spans well over 12 years,  led them into the vision from God that continued to grow and DAT Ministry was incorporated on August 2009 with the official launch occurring 12-12-12.

        Elders Daniel and Alvita co-labor at DAT Ministry.  As a team,  they facilitate discipleship groups and provide training to leaders for the establishment of discipleship ministries to advance the Kingdom of God.

       Previously, Elders Alvita and Daniel served as Co-Directors for eight years in the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church Discipleship Ministry in Lithonia,  Georgia.   In addition, they have facilitated several discipleship groups, trained the trainers ,and have successfully graduated over 787 people using the MasterLife Curriculum in that city.  

 

            The Elders have also utilized and taught the MasterLife Curriculum in various ministries in Decatur, GA, and Elder Alvita became an Assistant Facilitator in Birmingham, Alabama using the New Experience Development.

        Dedicated and experienced servants of the Lord, Elders Alvita and  Daniel Thompson, Sr., live in Lithonia, Georgia.  They have been married for 13 years with one son, Daniel, II and one god-daughter, Nicole.
